Client wanted a representation of the power to overcome the struggles with Tourette's Syndrome through Christ. I did some rough sketches of the brain enwrapped with the crown of thorns and he immediately said "let's do it!". A good part of the book is about forgiveness. I wanted to include the Golgotha hill and three crosses where Jesus said:
"Father forgive them for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)
Client was currently living in South America and was in the process of finding a printer. He just requested the cover minus the bind and back cover until he decided on a print company who ultimately designed the rest of the book.
I presented him with a rough sketch and he said go with it. I had a lot of fun designing this project for my fellow brother in Christ.
